Welcome from Peter Corroon
In November 2004, I was elected as the second Salt Lake County Mayor. Since that time, my administration has worked hard to create an open, honest and ethical government that makes the right decisions for the right reasons.
I now humbly request that the citizens allow me and my administration to continue our efforts in improving the government of Salt Lake County and the lives of the one million individuals whom we serve.
Planning for growth, strengthening our economy, protecting our environment, public safety and a focus on education have been and will continue to be the priorities of my administration for the next term. Planning, not politics, will be the focus as we tackle these issues.
My administration works hard to improve the lives of everyone in Salt Lake County—Democrats, Republicans, Independents, business owners, retirees, hard working families, those who are recovering from addictions, school children, those that care about the environment and many more!
We are moving ahead, and we are moving in the right direction.
